About Me

I have just completed my full year teaching internship in Chicago Public Schools through Michigan State University and have received my teaching certification for elementary (k-5), and middle school (6-8) science. For six weeks this summer I will be studying and teaching abroad in South Africa. This blog is a way for me to keep my family and friends updated on my travels and experiences. I am very excited to become familiar with a new culture and teach outside of the U.S. :)
